: This was my first time ever at an event where money and actual eliminations were involved so I was very nervous. The first day was just bracket racing...I was running very consistent all day 12.5-12.7's. I didn't launch very hard because I wanted to drive home when the 2 day event was finished. : Anyways, I raced in the A bracket (12.99 and faster). Lucky for me, there weren't many cars...one integra that ran 10's was knocked out early in the rounds so all the other cars where in the mid 12 area. I wasn't afraid, because I knew my top end was very strong with 122mph trap speeds. I ended winning my bracket that day and took $275 and a trophy. : The next day was the full NIRA event and I made it into the quick 8 along with Rich who runs 300z.com. He was one of the nicest guys there and he was one of the sweetest interiors. Unfortunately I had to race rich in the first round of quick 8 eliminations and knocked him out. I beat two supras (finals he DNF) to win the quick 8 $500 and a plaque.
>>lol..i am sure they came up w/some lame excuses as to why a "lowly Z" could beat their almighty supras. sound like your still running those tdo5's on the mild side...gonna turn 'em up a notch or two and run 11's?
